Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Conversations

Open Hearts is a small-group venue for attendees who may be in a place of vulnerability to share stories and perspectives regarding the current conflict in the Middle East and its local impact here in Omaha. Recognizing this vulnerability, Executive Director Wendy Goldberg will lead this discussion by inviting participants to use some of Tri-Faith’s tips for conversations in difficult times:

• Recognize your own need for care as well as care of others
• Prioritize listening over speaking
• Assume the best of someone you may be catching at their worst
• Speak on behalf of yourself and your perspectives
• Focus on what you need to say, not what you need to hear
