Tri-Faith’s 20th anniversary is upon us!

Join us on August 30, 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. for activities such as:

– Cultural tables from around the world
– Bounce house
– Face-painting and henna
– Mini-golf
– Bubble experience
– Cultural foods alongside halal burgers and kosher hot dogs

No need to RSVP, just bring you and your family along to celebrate twenty years of Tri-Faith Initiative!

LOGISTICS:

Parking

Parking is available in the main entrance at Countryside Community Church parking lot and Centris Credit Union and Temple Israel. Parking at the American Muslim Institute is reserved for volunteers, activity runners, and those coming for prayer.

There will be a shuttle, with stops marked on the map you receive when you come to the festival!

There will be around a 10 minute wait for each shuttle.

Food

Our food line opens at 12:30 p.m. at the Tri-Faith Center. Our custom ice cream (thanks, eCreamery!) is available from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Enjoy our primary dishes of halal burgers and kosher hot dogs, with cultural potluck sides, available until they run out. Each dish will have a card detailing the name of the dish, the name of the chef, and any allergens. There will be no dishes that contain shellfish, gelatin, pork, lettuce, or cilantro.

Cultural displays

15 countries are educating us about their culture and we’re also featuring 10 booths from local nonprofits! Be sure to stop by each booth to converse with the representatives!

Live music will be playing throughout the entire festival! Here is their schedule:

2:30 – 3:00: North of Daylight
3:15 – 4:00: Countryside Jazz Band

There are numerous activities throughout the event! Included are:

Bocce ball (on Tri-Faith lawn)
Chess (on Tri-Faith lawn)
Bubble experience (behind Countryside)

Cultural puzzle art activity (in our booth line!)

Siona Benjamin will be guiding Chalk The Block 1:00 – 2:15, and Superhero Masks 2:30 – 3:45. There will also be a wandering magician throughout the festival, so be sure to keep an eye out for him!

Building tours

Building tours will happen throughout the festival during specific hour-long blocks!

1:00-2:00 Temple Israel and Unity Garden
2:00-3:00 American Muslim Institute
3:00- 4:00 Countryside

Self-guided tours will be available for the Tri-Faith Center and for Abraham’s Bridge throughout the entire event, so be sure to scope everything out!

Other details

Bathrooms will be available both outside and inside at the Tri-Faith Center and AMI.

As we do with many gatherings on the Tri-Faith campus, security will be provided.
