Overcoming the Taboo: Religion and Politics with Brian Kaylor

Religion and politics are the two topics you’re not supposed to talk about at the dinner table. Brian Kaylor, a Baptist minister with a Ph.D. in political communication, has devoted his career to understanding these impolite topics and how they intersect. Drawing on this expertise, he will talk about their present relationship in our country’s contentious public life and invite participants into a dialogue that unpacks some of these dynamics. An award-winning writer and podcast host, Brian serves as the president and editor-in-chief of Word&Way, a Christian media platform based in Jefferson City, Missouri.
