Session 5 – Different Religions But the Same Family: Ruth, Chronicles, and the Family Tree of Jesus

A closer look at family trees in the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament –particularly for important figures such as the Davidic kings and Jesus – demonstrating an example of how we can view those of other religions and cultures as still part of our family.

Key takeaway: When we look at the religious Other as part of our extended family, we can begin to undo the schismatic harms of tribalism.
