Marys Hall, Countryside Community Church
Countryside Community Church, in collaboration with Tri-Faith Initiative, will hold a special, free screening of the documentary “Bad Faith” on Sunday, August 18, at 6:30 p.m. This thought-provoking film delves into the alarming rise of Christian Nationalism and its ambitious plan to reshape America’s democracy by imposing a specific interpretation of Biblical law. Join us at 5:30 PM for a relaxed social hour and meet some new friends before the film starts rollin’!
In “Bad Faith,” filmmakers unveil the powerful forces driving this movement, raising crucial questions about the future of our democracy and who stands behind these unsettling efforts. The documentary seeks to shed light on the strategies and ideologies that threaten to upend the Constitution and alter the fundamental principles upon which the United States was built.
A facilitated discussion will follow the screening, providing attendees with an opportunity to delve deeper into the themes presented in the film and explore their implications for our society.
This is a chance to join a community conversation on an issue of profound significance. The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend. For more information, please email Rev. Sarah Rentzel Jones at sarahrj@countrysideucc.org
